Account Coordinator
Lincoln, MA

Thompson Habib Denison (THD) is a leading direct marketing agency specializing in the development and execution of integrated fundraising programs for some of the largest nonprofit organizations in the United States and Canada. Our account teams partner with the world’s leading charity organizations including Feeding America, Habitat for Humanity, the Alzheimer’s Association and other renowned fundraising organizations.

As our portfolio of clients expand, we have a new opportunity to join our team. As an Account Coordinator, you will join our account team to lead the tactical day to day activities to produce all direct and digital marketing campaigns for 2-3 key accounts.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
• Initiate strategy sessions and provide input to team for developing strategy. Assemble samples, past results, current strategies and other materials necessary for strategy development.
• Coordinate new/modified copy and design with copywriter, designer and client.
• Participate in the campaign production process – material proofing and lettershop QC.
• Gather campaign cost estimates for campaign budget development and reconcile to actual as well as provide rollout costs for marketing reports.
• Create and distribute weekly status reports to team and client.
• Develop campaign schedules in conjunction with Production Coordinator.
• Maintain client contact at campaign level.

Required Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 0-2 years marketing and/or communications experience, preferably in marketing or equivalent experience required.
• Outstanding written and verbal communications skills required.
• Highly organized, attention to detail, ability to prioritize timelines, and deadline driven.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with THD team and external client team
• Must be proficient in MS Office Suite.

Account Manager
Lincoln, MA

Based on our growth and success, THD is looking for a strong Account Management professional to join our high performing Account Management team supporting multiple nonprofit clients. Put your talents to work managing the development and delivery of integrated marketing programs and serve as the direct liaison between internal departments and the client. You will participate in strategy development by providing analytic, strategic and creative input and database consultation. THD's Account Managers have a strong understanding of CRM strategy and utilize their understanding of campaign analytics to drive client recommendations.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead THD’s strategic, tactical and support functions by collaborating across creative digital, print, production and analytics teams in order to meet the client expectations, and take action to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Manage internal campaign strategy sessions; review previous results and current testing that should be considered in decision making.
  • Review strategy documentation and provide feedback to Account Executive.
  • Review creative output to ensure campaign objectives are met; suggest improvements or re-direct.
  • Participate in client approval process as necessary.
  • Review and critique list plan; communicate concerns to Account Director. Distribute to client, review and solicit approval.
  • Approve merge/purge instructions to ensure all client mandatories are met as well as special processing instructions.
  • Approve campaign-level segmentation based on past results, final file counts and other campaign or report specific output for accuracy.
  • Review standard reports (such as package, cash flow and RFA/list) distributed on a regular basis with accurate analysis and recommendations.
  • Identify and execute custom analytics to answer additional questions. Present findings to client on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with External Vendors, Database Companies, and Digital Partner.
  • Manage workflow and training and mentoring of Account Executives and Account Coordinators.
  • Delegate responsibilities appropriately to ensure both short and long-term deliverables are on time.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in direct mail and digital.
  • Analytically minded, specifically comfortable with data, response metrics and trends.
  • Outstanding relationship building, and communication skills required.

Email Developer
Lincoln, MA

As an Email Developer with THD you will coordinate, plan and oversee projects involving the creation and execution of digital media campaigns including email, social, display and search. You will collaborate with multiple project teams to oversee the design and development of our Email Marketing collateral. You will also ensure that the work being produced is within brand guidelines and has been quality assured.


  • Develop online creative media to support email marketing campaigns. This will require design and coding of email and image assets as well as uploading them into our Email Service Provider interface(s).
  • Send test emails to distribution lists for approval. Update code with requested changes as necessary.
  • Test/quality-check all links, images, product information, fine print and landing pages.
  • Monitor and provide timely status updates to all applicable teams regarding project progress against the proposed plans.
  • Landing page development required, where applicable.


  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and responsive design.
  • Strong understanding of web, email and mobile design principles.
  • Experience coding advanced emails and cross browser testing.
  • Solid technical skills and expertise with HTML and CSS optimized for email deployment with an understanding of the difference between coding for the web and coding for email. Ability to code HTML by hand.
  • Expertise with Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver (or other applicable code editor).
  • Experience with email testing software (Litmus, Email on Acid), and deployment platforms (Marketo, Campaign Monitor, Mailchimp, Pardot, etc.).
  • Familiarity with an advertising operations workflow (marketing analytics, 3rd party advertising tag implementation and testing, etc.).

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent organizational skills – you’ll need to be highly organized to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Robust experience successfully interacting and working collaboratively with account managers to deliver on project deliverables.
  • Experience working with UX/UI resources.
  • Experience with avoiding common pitfalls when developing for mainstream browsers (Chrome, FF, Edge, IE, Safari) and mobile OS (iOS and Android).
  • Experience with project management software such as Basecamp, Asana, etc.
  • Ability to construct complex animations for use in email/banners a plus.

Development Operations Supervisor, Donor Advancement
Lincoln, MA

Thompson, Habib & Denison have a number of clients and prospects that recognize that mid-level donors are the lifeblood of most nonprofits. This group usually represents a significant share of revenue relative to the entire donor base. Due to their immediate and long-term value, stewarding these donors and treating them uniquely is critical. Our goal in Donor Advancement is to grow our client’s mid-level program, advancing many donors to major and planned giving levels.

As a key member of the Donor Advancement (DA) team, the Development Operations Supervisor ensures the accuracy of the DA internal database, oversees that the Donor Ambassadors have timely and quality messaging with their client’s donors, while working closely with other Donor Advancement team members to put client strategies into production, advancing our client’s mid-level donor base. This role systematically executes strategies to identify, cultivate and steward donors, and implements best practices across the department.

The Development Operations Supervisor oversees a staff of Donor Ambassadors. These individuals act as frontline resources and relationship managers for our client’s donors. Through thoughtful and tailored messaging, the Donor Ambassador ensures that donors are appropriately acknowledged, continuously stewarded for their support, and they work to foster relationships that lead to continued engagement and support for great causes.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

•  Manage the operations of the DA team including but not limited to, training and onboarding of Donor Ambassadors, management of internal database and MindMap coding, implementation of outreach strategies across clients, supporting Ambassadors on a day to day basis with technical or support questions, and inventory of client supplies
•  Create and maintain a robust and thorough training and onboarding program for DA Ambassadors
•  Ensure training and access to the DA internal database as well as client systems
•  Maintain & distribute current DA training manual to reflect most recent and best practices
•  Manage the DA Internal database system updates, MindMap coding updates and changes
•  Oversee research tool credentials and subscriptions
•  Support and assist the Donor Ambassadors with MindMap coding, list management and technical questions
• Run & circulate stewardship outreach reports
•  Support the creation of cultivation lists for each client team under the direction of the DAM and SAE
•  Review and provide quality control for weekly call reports prior to delivery to client
•  Oversee handwritten Thank You notes; facilitate process with contracted note-writers, provide quality control, and manage notecard and stamp inventory
•  Elevate donor inquires and follow ups from Donor Ambassadors to the DAM and SAE to discuss with the client
•  Facilitate other requests such as gift receipts/tax acknowledgments, data base questions and corrections with client’s Donor Support teams

Required Experience & Skills:

•  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
•  5 years working experience with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience
•  A minimum of one year of fundraising experience in a professional or volunteer capacity
•  Experience managing individuals and building successful teams

Print/Production Artist – Part Time

As our portfolio of clients expands, THD is in search of motivated team player to join our Creative team as a print/production artist.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Print/Production Artist you will have strong typographic and layout skills, attention to detail, and outstanding organizational, project management, file-organization and archiving skills.

  • Collaborate closely with art directors, designers, Account Management and production teams on an ongoing basis for art layouts
  • Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for print (sizes, colors, fonts, etc.)
  • Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production
  • Package and preflight files for release to printers
  • At times, prepare images for online and mobile applications
  • Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time
  • Troubleshoot problems as they arise with both the creative team and the printer and account team
  • Accurately maintain client files on THD share drive

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 1-3 years’ experience in production/graphic design
  • Must be fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, self-starter personality, able to manage changing priorities and high level of attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, communications and relationship skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Fundraising and digital experience are a plus.
