Account Director

We are looking to add an Account Director to lead the overall planning and direction of multi-channel direct response fundraising programs for our agency clients, through partnerships with the analytics, media, production, digital and creative teams to ensure that campaigns meet clients’ marketing and financial objectives. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of program growth and execution, including client relationships, strategy development, analytics reporting and oversight, and channel integration.

 

In this role you will:

  • Motivate and Lead: Inspire team members to achieve business objectives through effective leadership and planning.
  • Primary Client Contact: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

We Seek:

  • 8-10 years' experience in national, nonprofit, multi-channel direct response fundraising, including direct mail, digital marketing, and digital acquisition.
  • 5 years' experience in a management or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of nonprofit marketing channels and direct response strategies.
  • Exceptional talent for managing client relationships, with agency experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

Donor Ambassador - PT contract

This is a key role to support of THD's donor community. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Donor Ambassador will be responsible for programs that will complement, enhance, and help grow philanthropy on behalf of nationally recognized non-profit organizations. Through the development of a thoughtful combination of communications and interactions, this individual will ensure that leadership donors are appropriately acknowledged, continuously stewarded for their support, and develop long-term relationships with our nonprofit clients that lead to continued engagement and support for great causes.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Our work creates top-of-mind presence among constituencies and a level of importance that will create support and advocacy from the individual donors. In this role, you will collaborate with the Donor Advancement Manager to manage communications, including the development and deployment of segmented communications based on donor behavior, geography, language, and culture.

 

  • Identify needs of high value donors and execute engagement strategies that will retain their support.
  • Provide multi-channel cultivation and stewardship for selected donors, primarily through email and phone outreach.
  • Converse knowledgeably with generous donors from a broad range of backgrounds.
  • Record donor information from each contact, Conduct internet research on selected donors on an as needed basis.
  • Ensure that all stewardship touch-points with leadership donors are accurately documented and recorded utilizing proprietary tracking software.
  • Communicate effectively with management team on the needs of the portfolio and troubleshoot questions as they arise.
  • Complete other tasks as needed relating to donor cultivation and stewardship.

 

Part Time Schedule

Flexible – Monday through Friday – mornings, afternoons and/or evenings.

Typically, 20 to 30 hours per week with flexibility.

 

Education/Experience:

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills; committed to providing professional, high quality customer service to donor community.

  • 2+ years in a sales or customer services environment or equivalent volunteer experience.
  • Non-profit experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Print Production Studio Artist

We have an opportunity to join our Creative Team as a Print Production Studio Artist to help worthwhile clients achieve their missions. As a Studio Artist at THD, you will be part of an integrated team that develops highly effective multichannel creative for marketing and fundraising campaigns. You will work alongside Designers, Creative Directors, and Writers, along with Production and Account Management professionals, to bring fundraising strategies to life. As a Studio Artist, you will prepare electronic artwork for print vendors, ensure packages are produced properly, and meet the needs of the Account Teams and clients. In addition, there will be opportunities to help execute various design pieces.

  • Provide flats, PDFs, and/or mock-ups for review with internal teams at various phases of production
  • Accurately maintain client files

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, self-starter personality, able to manage changing priorities, with a high level of attention to detail

Senior Account Executive

We are looking to add a Senior Account Executive to our team to participate in the development and execution of multi-channel direct response and digital campaigns on behalf of non-profit clients.  This person will manages daily contact with clients, monitors campaign process and coordinates the efforts of production/creative to ensure quality service to clients.  This person will produce results analysis and contribute to budget development.

In this role you will: 

  • Oversee implementation of direct mail and digital projects, coordinating resources and planning across multiple departments.
  • Lead strategy sessions, gather feedback, and present materials for developing campaign strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular status reports and gathering feedback.
  • Work with production teams, data vendors, and list brokers to manage budgets, mailing schedules, and list plans.
  • Prepare reports, conduct preliminary analysis, and recommend next steps, ensuring accurate data segmentation.

We seek: 

  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills required.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, deadline driven.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with THD team and external client team.
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2-4 years marketing and/or communications experience, preferably in non-profit marketing required.
