Account Coordinator
Lincoln, MA

Thompson Habib Denison (THD) is a leading direct marketing agency specializing in the development and execution of integrated fundraising programs for some of the largest nonprofit organizations in the United States and Canada. Our teams partner with the world’s leading nonprofits including Habitat for Humanity, Feeding America, USO, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Autism Speaks, Make-A-Wish, and other renowned fundraising organizations.

As our portfolio of clients expand, we have a new opportunity to join our team. As an Account Coordinator, you will join our account team to lead the tactical day-to-day activities to produce all direct and digital marketing campaigns for 2-3 key accounts.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Initiate strategy sessions and provide input to team for developing strategy. Assemble samples, past results, current strategies and other materials necessary for strategy development.
  • Coordinate new/modified copy and design with copywriter, designer and client.
  • Participate in the campaign production process – material proofing and lettershop QC.
  • Gather campaign cost estimates for campaign budget development and reconcile to actual as well as provide rollout costs for marketing reports.
  • Create and distribute weekly status reports to team and client.
  • Develop campaign schedules in conjunction with Production Coordinator.
  • Maintain client contact at campaign level.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 0-2 years marketing and/or communications experience, preferably in marketing or equivalent experience required.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills required.
  • Highly organized, attention to detail, ability to prioritize timelines, and deadline driven.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with THD team and external client team.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of database marketing/fundraising and account management preferred.

Account Manager
Lincoln, MA

Based on our growth and success, THD is looking for a strong Account Management professional to join our high performing Account Management team supporting multiple nonprofit clients. Put your talents to work managing the development and delivery of integrated marketing programs and serve as the direct liaison between internal departments and the client. You will participate in strategy development by providing analytic, strategic and creative input and database consultation. THD's Account Managers have a strong understanding of CRM strategy and utilize their understanding of campaign analytics to drive client recommendations.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead THD’s strategic, tactical and support functions by collaborating across creative digital, print, production and analytics teams in order to meet the client expectations, and take action to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Manage internal campaign strategy sessions; review previous results and current testing that should be considered in decision making.
  • Review strategy documentation and provide feedback to Account Executive.
  • Review creative output to ensure campaign objectives are met; suggest improvements or re-direct.
  • Participate in client approval process as necessary.
  • Review and critique list plan; communicate concerns to Account Director. Distribute to client, review and solicit approval.
  • Approve merge/purge instructions to ensure all client mandatories are met as well as special processing instructions.
  • Approve campaign-level segmentation based on past results, final file counts and other campaign or report specific output for accuracy.
  • Review standard reports (such as package, cash flow and RFA/list) distributed on a regular basis with accurate analysis and recommendations.
  • Identify and execute custom analytics to answer additional questions. Present findings to client on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with External Vendors, Database Companies, and Digital Partner.
  • Manage workflow and training and mentoring of Account Executives and Account Coordinators.
  • Delegate responsibilities appropriately to ensure both short and long-term deliverables are on time.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in direct mail and digital.
  • Analytically minded, specifically comfortable with data, response metrics and trends.
  • Outstanding relationship building, and communication skills required.
  • Database marketing/non profit Marketing, fundraising experience Digital Marketing (Email Marketing) Willingness to travel overnight when needed; may be required to be onsite at the client 1-2 times per week.

THD is in search of a proofreader/copy editor for various copy-centric clients. You’ll be checking writers’ drafts and presiding over clients’ rounds of edits to ensure they’re free of errors, easy to read, and in compliance with the clients’ brand nuances and preferred usage styles (AP and Chicago). You must be detail-oriented, flexible, and able to effectively prioritize your workload. Communication with project coordinators and account managers is crucial, as client needs frequently change and/or challenges arise.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proofread copy decks and finished layouts to find and correct any grammatical, punctuation, style, or spelling errors.
  • Work with Account Management and Creative teams to learn, enforce, and document ongoing changes to client style and messaging guidelines, which lay out rules of nuance, voice, punctuation, and usage.
  • Revise and edit client-and-account-supplied copy to ensure smooth, natural readability, and stylistic compliance.
  • Work closely with writers, suggesting changes to enhance readability, clarity, conciseness, and compliance with client style guidelines.
  • Double-check that names, places and organizations are spelled properly; URLs are live; and that facts, dates, and statistics are accurate and up-to-date. This may involve cross-checking writers’ sources and conducting other on- or offline research.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required — English, journalism, writing, or related field is preferred.
  • Outstanding grasp of written English with 3+ years proofreading or editorial experience in an agency or publishing environment (marketing/fundraising preferred), reviewing both print and digital materials.
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, self-starter personality able to manage changing priorities and negotiate deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, communications, and relationship skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite required; Adobe Pro, Box, and Wrike experience would be a bonus.

Studio Artist

As a Studio Artist, you will prepare electronic artwork for print vendors, ensure packages are produced properly, and meet the needs of the account teams and clients. You will also have the opportunity to help execute various design pieces.

  • Work cross functionally with Account Management and production teams on an ongoing basis for art layouts.
  • Ensure layouts meet production specifications and are properly labeled with information (sizes, colors, fonts, etc.)
  • Provide flats, PDFs and/or mock-ups for review with internal teams at various phases of production
  • Prepare artwork for external print vendors
  • Accurately maintain client files on THD share drive
Required Experience & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years' experience in production/graphic design
  • Must be fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, self-starter personality, able to manage changing priorities and high level of attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, communications and relationship skills
