Account Director
Lincoln, MA or remote

As an Account Director with THD, you will manage the fundraising programs for several non-profit clients serving as key client contact. You will lead the development and execution of fundraising campaigns by providing analysis, strategic and creative input and database consultation. Working directly with non-profit clients on daily basis, you will advise, recommend, update and report on their fundraising campaigns.

Join our high performing team that runs on all cylinders, has fun and needs a strong independent performer. You will be responsible for the development and delivery of integrated marketing programs and serve as the direct liaison between internal departments and the client. Account Directors have a strong understanding of CRM strategy and understanding and present all campaign analytics to the client teams.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee direct marketing campaigns from strategy development through creative, data processing and production.
  • Oversee other Account Management staff in the execution of tactical strategy.
  • Identify upgrade opportunities; participate in sales process.
  • Provide direction and final approval on campaign strategy and present the recommendations to the client.
  • Evaluate/Identify when creative strategy should be modified to better meet client requirements.
  • Review final layouts to ensure they meet both program objectives and client requirements.
  • Consult on database and data management issues including troubleshooting and reporting/tool development.
  • Participate in and/or direct budget development process, and re-projecting budgets.
  • Identify campaign or financial issues that require further analysis; provide direction for analysis.
  • Develop annual file audit, year-end review, budget and annual plan, and presentations.
  • Key client contact for program planning, strategy and program evaluation.
  • Manage team resources across multiple disciplines to ensure program objectives are met.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a 7-10 years marketing and/or communications experience.
  • Experience managing and building lasting relationships with clients in the nonprofit industry.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills.
  • Outstanding analytical abilities .
  • Previous management experience required.
  • Outstanding relationship building and communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of database marketing/fundraising and account management required.
  • Highly organized, attention to detail, ability to prioritize timelines, and deadline driven.

Account Director, Digital Strategy
Lincoln, MA or remote

The Senior Digital Account Director will develop & lead the digital strategies for several non-profit clients, collaborating with the Account Lead and ensuring integrated and cohesive marketing and fundraising plans for our clients. You will lead the development and execution of digital campaigns by directing & interpreting performance insights and industry trends to drive strategy and creative. Campaign tactics may include email & marketing automation; paid social, search, Google Grants, programmatic media; SEO, content marketing; video and CTV, and emerging channels.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic day-to-day lead for our non-profit clients, advising on campaign strategy through execution; identifying opportunities to (further) integrate digital media and digital marketing practices into fundraising and communication strategies.
  • Synthesize data across a number of platforms, including ad platforms, CRM, and Google Analytics, to distill into actionable insights to inform strategic process.
  • Lead all digital aspects of developing Annual Plan, including strategic priorities, KPI targets, new campaign or other program initiatives, and revenue & expense budgeting
  • Track & report on performance against Annual Plan in QBRs and other client-facing meetings
  • Track & report on performance compared to budget, lead reforecasting for all digital revenue streams
  • Identify & recommend new opportunities & strategies based on innovations, market trends, and/or client performance trends
  • Identify client upgrade opportunities & collaborate with VP Digital & Account Lead to sell-in
  • Lead internal campaign strategy sessions, present strategy to clients, and evaluate creative to ensure strategic objectives are met.
  • Review campaign results and make recommendations to improve performance.
  • Perform as SME on THDLens, specifically all dashboards in Digital Marketing Suite
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Manage workflow and training of Account Executives & Account Coordinators. Delegate responsibilities appropriately to ensure short and long-term deliverables are met.
  • Collaborate with Digital leadership team to educate THD’s senior leadership to increase digital renewal & adoption; create the bridge between Account Management and Digital SMEs/operations
  • Demonstrate THD’s digital expertise by participating in new business as a trusted advisor

 

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years' marketing experience.
  • Experience leading, delivering, and reporting on digital marketing programs required.
  • Database marketing experience preferred, including experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, IBM Watson, Luminate, Redpoint, EveryAction).
  • Ability to think strategically and generate high-level actionable insights via analysis.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with Google Analytics required.
